Child themes doesn’t show up in MAMP

When we used Dreamweaver, or edited a working theme style sheet in Dreamweaver, the theme wouldn’t show up in the WP dashboard under Appearance|Themes. We changed the Dreamweaver Preferences | Code Format | Line break type: from CR (Macintosh) to LF (Unix) and that solved the problem.


How do I make it  that a page doesn’t link to anything?

I’d like to use this page
– as a menu element leading to submenus pages
– but not displaying any content itself .
                      Just use « # » at the link. That won’t go anywhere.
